Description

Each shapefile or list of GPS coordinates loaded into the system comes with a map visualization. Example here. Currently, the map can be customized. However, it is useful if we could also customize other details. Most importantly, sometimes it is most sensible to show the items in GRID VIEW by default and sometimes TABLE VIEW is better. Let's create a way to set this. Also, the table view is very basic -- it would be very useful if we could specify which columns are shown there.

This was now set up. You can edit the settings by clicking the PAGE EDITOR button underneath any map (assuming you have curation rights). The page displays options to set the default view, remove standard columns and add custom columns.

NOTE: these changes have been made on my development machine but it will likely take a week or so before I publish these changes online as I'm in the middle of other changes as well, but I wanted to ensure I document this feature which might be useful to others as well.
