Description

Two points in this task:
1) I've just added a new journal in the back-end (International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health) under finding out that they live in records, when I noticed that it isn't possible to add a website for it. In existing journals with websites (e.g. JIE), this website field doesn't show there either, so I'm thinking it is a matter of making it visible. Could you please do so? (Less important, but what is also missing is the publisher.)

2) When I wanted to select the journal for the respective publication (https://library.metabolismofcities.org/items/2521/), then it wouldn't give me this journal as an option. Other journals are listed as normally. Could you please fix that? Thanks.

Discussion and updates

New task was created

Task was assigned to Paul Hoekman

Hi Carolin,

This was now changed up. As discussed before, we generally want to be using some sort of an integrated section on our website instead of the generic back-end, in the end, because that way we can properly record certain things (like assign points and create relevant associated tasks). However as you saw there wasn't yet a way to manage journals or publishers on our website. There is now. It's embedded in the library control panel, where you find an overview of both all publishers and journals, with options to edit them. The URL is there, and for journals there is also a field listing the publishers.

Great, happy to see that done! Thanks. I've added the new journal and tagged the publication now too.
